For General Questions, or ones not listed below, contact us.

Do I need a physician order?
A physician’s order is required for Medicare/insurances to cover skilled services, such as Nursing, and Physical, Occupational or Speech therapy.  A physician referral is not needed for any non-medical home care. We will happily coordinate services with your physician if necessary. If your doctor has any questions about our services, we will be glad to answer them.

What is homecare?
Homecare allows those who may need extra assistance – including medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and support with bathing, dressing, or other daily tasks – to receive these services in the comfort of their own home. This allows individuals who may need an extra helping hand to achieve and maintain independence.

What can I expect when I call Graceworks at Home?
When you contact Graceworks at Home, we will first discuss your needs or the needs of your loved one. After the initial call, we will visit your home and work with you to review and develop a plan to meet your needs.

What are your hours?
Graceworks at Home is available to meet the needs of our clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We are available whenever you need us.

Does insurance cover homecare?
Graceworks at Home is a Medicare-certified home healthcare agency providing nursing care, rehabilitative therapy, medical social services and home health aide assistance. Health at Home is certified by Medicare and accredited by The Joint Commission. We will work with your insurance company to determine eligibility and submit all paperwork to Medicare.

Who decides which homecare services I use?
You do. You are in complete control of the types of services you receive.

Can I use homecare services on a temporary basis?
Yes. Many of our clients utilize Graceworks at Home services when they have a scheduled surgery and know that they will need a little extra help or therapy services at home. Our goal is to get our clients back on their feet as quickly and safely as possible. This could be as little as one week or one month. However, we are also happy to provide ongoing, long-term assistance.
